It's hard to say which is more exciting: Halloween today or the championship match next weekend. Okay, I'm lying, the match next weekend is much more exciting! But Halloween tonight is still really exciting. And it really wasn't that hard to turn my "Tornados Cheerleader" costume from last year into a "Magpies Cheerleader" one for this year.

In other news ... I'm starting to forget what my best friend looks like (all completely my fault, I know). She's blonde, I think. Tiny and gorgeous, married to one super-lucky bloke. Hannah, I'm actually not up to my eyeballs in clients and developing pictures and everything, we need some girl time! Are you free anytime this week?

My work is madness as always, but I'm off Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning, then Thursday morning, and Friday night!

Thank you, Eleanor! I'm still sad I never got a cheerleading squad started at Hogwarts while I was there. Were you trapped away in that old castle for Halloween, or did you get to escape to enjoy some Halloween festivities?

Trapped away? I can't ever possibly be trapped away at Hogwarts when I'm a willing lecturer! Halloween is always such a fun time on Hogwarts grounds, but I did manage to leave and visit the haunted house George made.

Maybe you should try to get a cheerleading squad together now. Who says you still have to be a student? Hm, or does the thought of walking back into "that old castle" give you hives?
